Dechod

Dechod is the commemoration of the parinirvana of a great master, in this case our primary teacher and founder Kyabje Dungse Thinley Norbu Rinpoche (1931-2011). The exact day will fluctuate slightly each year as we follow the Buddhist lunar calendar date which is the 2nd day of the 11th month. This year the corresponding Western calendar date is January 1st, 2025. 

We also commemorate the parinirvana of our primary lineage teachers Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche II Jigdral Yeshe Dorje (1904-1987), and Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche III Sangye Pema Shepa (1990-2022).
